  24. This program offers the following main features:

  27. Tone or Pulse and manual dialing.

  29. It provides 2 address books for dialing and logging.

  31. It can serve as a stand-alone address book (2 books).

  33. It prints envelopes on LaserJet.

  37. It can dial special Tone-Dial services that require additional numbers 
  38. and/or digits.

  61. How to install DiaLog on your hard disk:
  62. *****************************************
  63.  
  64. DiaLog will install itself on your hard disk in the default directory
  65. c:\DiaLog or in a directory of your choice.  It will also optionally
  66. create a program group window with icons for executing DiaLog.
  67.  
  68. This program will not effect any other program or directory on your system.
  69. No modifications will be made to any of the files such as AutoExec.Bat,
  70. Config.Sys, Win.Ini, or any others.
  71.  
  72. DiaLog requires the library file 'VBRUN200.DLL' to reside in your Windows
  73. directory, or a directory in your PATH.  It is available on CompuServe in 
  74. the WinADV forum as 'VBRUN2.ZIP'.
  75.  
  76. The following files make up the DiaLog installation package and should all
  77. reside together in the same directory  for the installation to succeed:
  78. (Pleas note DiaLog files start with 'Dial' for easy identification.)

  88. - Installation -
  89.  
  90. The installation procedure assumes you have created an Installation disk
  91. from the FoneW.Exe file.  To obtain the installation diskette type:
  92.           FoneW a:\ or FoneW b:\
  93. This will create the installation diskette on drive a: or b:, assuming you 
  94. are in the directory where FoneW.Exe is located.  Label it as: 'DiaLog for
  95. Windows Installation Disk'.  
  96.  
  97. 1.  From the Windows Program Manager Menu select: <File> <Run ..>
  98.  
  99. 2.  Enter the path where your installation disk resides and add the
  100.     installation program name.  ( a:\Install or b:\Install )
  101.  
  102. 3.  The installation program will suggest c:\DiaLog as the directory for
  103.     the DiaLog program.  You may change the disk identifier and the
  104.     directory name.  However, do NOT add another level of sub directory, 
  105.     unless the sub directory exists.  If you have a previous version of
  106.     DiaLog already installed, just let "Install" install it on top of it.
  107.  
  108. 4.  The installation program will ask you if you want to create a program
  109.     group window.  You should answer 'yes', because you can always ask
  110.     windows to move or delete it later.  This provides you with ready-to-run
  111.     icons.  (See 'Deleting DiaLog from your system' later in this document.)
  112.     If you already have a previous version of DiaLog with icons, then you
  113.     should answer no, or you will have two sets of icons.  (You can always
  114.     delete one set.)

  116. 5.  You are told the program has been successfully installed.
  117.  
  118. You are now ready to execute DiaLog.  Simply double click on the DiaLog
  119. icon.  DiaLog contains extensive help information.  (Don't forget, 
  120. VBRUN200.DLL must be in your Windows directory, or any other directory that
  121. is in your PATH.

  147. 1.  Windows 3.1 had problems closing DiaLog via the Program Manager if 
  148.     DiaLog had executed the help file.  Windows reported General Protection
  149.     Fault.  Closing DiaLog directly caused no such error.  Got around the
  150.     erroneous error reporting by deleting the unloading of the Help form
  151.     before closing DiaLog.

  193. Deleting DiaLog from your system

  196. Use Windows to delete each item in the DiaLog program group by selecting
  197. the icon and then selecting <Delete> from the Program Manager <File> menu.

  199. After all icons have been deleted, delete the program group in the same way.

  201. If you do NOT also have DiaLog for DOS installed in the same directory,
  202. delete all files in the DiaLog directory, and finally the DiaLog 
  203. directory itself.

  218. There are two ways you are permitted to pass the DiaLog program to other 
  219. people.  One way is by simply passing on the compressed file (FoneW.Exe) 
  220. and the preferred way is by executing FoneW.Exe to a diskette, which 
  221. copies the following files to a single disk (All the files listed MUST be 
  222. included WITHOUT modification.)  Name that disk 'DiaLog Installation':

  244. Shareware is copyrighted software which is distributed by authors through 
  245. bulletin boards, on-line services, disk vendors, and copies passed among 
  246. friends and acquaintances.  It is commercial software which you are allowed 
  247. to try before you pay for it.  This makes Shareware the ultimate in money 
  248. back guarantees.

  250. With Shareware you get to try a program for a reasonable limited time 
  251. (30-45 days), without spending any money other than perhaps for downloading 
  252. from a bulletin board or paying a Shareware distributor a small fee for his 
  253. disk.  You are able to use the software on your own computer, in your own 
  254. work environment.  If you decide the program is not for you, you remove it 
  255. from your computer and erase all copies, including the data files.  If you 
  256. do decide to keep it, then - and only then - do you pay for it.

  259. produced by accomplished programmers, just like retail software.  There is
